Over the past 24 hours, 267 clashes were recorded on the front lines; the hottest spot is Pokrovsk
Over the past 24 hours, on May 25, there were 267 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops along the front lines. The heaviest fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 47 enemy assaults.
This is stated in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on May 26.
The enemy launched four missile strikes, using four missiles, and carried out 79 airstrikes, dropping 254 guided bombs.
In addition, the Russians deployed 8,684 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,848 shelling attacks, including 54 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian forces carried out airstrikes, particularly in the Tovstodubove area of Sumy Oblast.
The Air Force, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two drone control centers, three troop concentration areas, an artillery system, a logistics depot, and one other key enemy facility.
Over the past 24 hours, three clashes occurred in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions; the enemy carried out 80 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched eleven assaults on the positions of our units in the areas of the settlements of Lyman, Hraniv, Starytsia, Hrafske, Radkivka, Okhrimivka, and Kolodyazne.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled seven enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kupiansk, Kivsharivka, Novoosynove, Podoly, and Borivska Andriivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 17 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Novoselivka, Novomykhailivka, Dibrova, Drobysheve, Stavy, Yampil, Novovodyane, and Ozerne.
In the Sloviansk direction, over the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped five attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Zakytne, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, our defenders repelled one enemy attack near Minkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, and toward Mykolaipil.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders repelled 47 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Shakove, Vilne, Kutuzivka, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Bilytske, Sofiivka, Kucheriiv Yar, Zatyishok, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Udachne, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched two attacks near the settlement of Verbove.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 24 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Dobropillia, Novozaporizhzhia, Zlagoda, Rybne, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka, Charivne, Rivnopillia, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, and Vozdvyzhivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to advance six times in the areas of the settlements of Bilohirya, Novoandriivka, and Shcherbaky.
In the Dnipro direction, our defenders successfully repelled two attacks toward the Antonivsky Bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
In total, Russian invaders suffered 1,010 casualties over the past day. The enemy also lost one tank, seven armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, ten ground-based robotic systems, 1,790 unmanned aerial vehicles, 374 vehicles, and three pieces of specialized equipment.



Total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to May 24, 2026, amount to approximately 1,355,920 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, 1,110 military personnel were eliminated.
Russian troops continue their attempts to disrupt the logistical support of Ukrainian units in the south. The Southern Defense Forces reported that the enemy is attempting to cut off supply routes toward Zaporizhzhia, Huliaipole, and Orikhiv, but these efforts have been unsuccessful. Ukrainian forces are holding their positions and maintaining control of the situation on this section of the front.
