In the Kramatorsk area, Russia is changing its tactics due to the activities of Ukrainian drones

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops are increasingly relying less on heavy equipment and shifting to tactics involving small infantry groups. The reason is the effective operation of Ukrainian drones, which are destroying enemy vehicles.

This was reported by Mykhailo Trach, commander of the “Sapsany” unmanned aerial vehicle battalion of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostyantyn Ostrozky.

According to him, Russian troops are trying to minimize the movement of their vehicles and are operating primarily in small assault groups, moving from cover to cover.

“They are trying to limit their movement as much as possible and avoid entering the range of our operators, because we immediately send FPV drones after them,” he noted.

The military official also reported that the enemy primarily uses light equipment, particularly drones, for logistics, as Ukrainian units are actively destroying heavy equipment.

Separately, he emphasized that the enemy’s tactics are based on the constant “seepage” of small groups attempting to gradually advance forward, despite significant losses.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have regained control of 480 square kilometers of territory and continue to repel Russian attacks in the Oleksandrivka sector.

Despite significant losses, Russian troops continue to attempt to turn the tide of battle in their favor. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are inflicting maximum losses on the enemy and gradually wearing them down.

As a reminder, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi coordinated further actions with unit commanders in the Southern Operational Zone to conduct effective active defense.

As a reminder, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited the positions of the 65th Brigade on the Zaporizhzhia sector of the front.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defense forces have eliminated 1,440 Russian soldiers and destroyed a significant amount of enemy equipment.
