Russia attacked energy infrastructure in Mykolaiv region with Shahed drones, damage reported

In the Mykolaiv region, damage to energy infrastructure was recorded following a morning attack by Russian strike drones.

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim.

“As a result of the morning Shahed attack, energy infrastructure has been damaged. Settlements in the Bashtanka Raionare currently partially without electricity,” Kim stated.

According to him, efforts are ongoing to eliminate the consequences of the strike and restore power supply.

On the morning of February 13, Kherson was also left without electricity. Specialists are currently determining the cause of the blackout, while energy workers are working to restore power to residents as quickly as possible.

Earlier, on the night of February 13, Russian drones attacked a port in Odesa region, killing one person and injuring six others, three of whom are in serious condition.

On the night of February 12 (from 6:00 p.m. on February 11), the enemy launched 24 Iskander-M/S-300 ballistic missiles from Russia’s Bryansk, Voronezh, and Rostov regions, as well as from temporarily occupied Crimea, and a Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missile from the airspace over temporarily occupied Donetsk region. In addition, 219 strike UAVs were launched, including Shahed-136, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones — about 150 of them were Shahed-type.

That same night, Russian forces carried out another combined attack on the Ukrainian capital. Earlier, Russia struck the suburbs of Zaporizhzhia with drones, injuring a child. A separate Russian shelling also seriously damaged an energy facility in the Odesa region.
