In the night of 12 February, Russian forces carried out another combined attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, the city prosecutor’s office reported.
The enemy used both cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), targeting infrastructure and aiming to intimidate residents.
According to official data, the attack caused casualties and damage in residential areas. While repelling the air strike, fragments from enemy weapons fell in several districts, injuring two people: a 20-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man. Both were hospitalised and are receiving medical care.
Destruction was recorded in the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts. Drone fragments damaged windows and facades of two apartment buildings and destroyed privately parked cars nearby. Municipal services are working to remove debris and restore the damaged structures.
Kyiv city prosecutors have launched a pre-trial investigation into the incident. Authorities classified the actions of Russian military forces as violations of the laws and customs of war.
Earlier, Russian drones targeted the suburbs of Zaporizhzhia, injuring a child, and another strike caused serious damage to an energy facility in Odesa region.
