In southern Myrnohrad, the enemy has entrenched and deployed artillery

Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold positions in northern Myrnohrad, but the situation in the southern sector remains extremely difficult.

A UNIAN source among military personnel reported that Russian forces have controlled the southern part of the city for several weeks and are actively strengthening their positions.

There, the occupiers have deployed artillery and set up defensive structures, using the area to increase pressure on Ukrainian units.

Military officials note that fighting is becoming increasingly intense, especially after the enemy intensified the use of unmanned aerial systems.

"The situation is critical. We are holding northern Myrnohrad, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to hold back the enemy," a UNIAN source said.

According to the source, the situation near Rodynske has also worsened, though there is no immediate threat of encirclement for Ukrainian forces.

In the Myrnohrad sector, some of the most highly trained Russian drone units—“Archangels” and “Rubicon”—are operating. They not only deploy FPV drones but also bomber drones that deliver precise strikes on Ukrainian fortifications. The enemy also uses fiber-optic-controlled drones, making it more difficult to jam them.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces eliminated over 1,000 enemy combatants in a single day.
