Another evacuation train from eastern Ukraine has arrived in the Rivne region, carrying 18 people who were forced to flee due to the war.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The evacuees left their homes to escape the fighting, taking with them only the most essential items, as well as their pets, whom they could not leave behind.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service met the arrivals on the platform. They helped people get off the train, carried heavy items, and escorted the evacuees to their temporary accommodations.
The agency notes that a period of adjustment to their new surroundings lies ahead for these people, but for now, their safety is the top priority.
In the Kherson region, due to the worsening security situation and increased attacks by Russian drones, a decision was made to mandate the evacuation of children along with their parents from certain settlements in the Kherson community.
