A Russian electronic warfare system designed to jam Starlink was destroyed in Kerch
In occupied Kerch, the Russian “Volna-Kupol-Garant” electronic warfare system, which was used to jam Starlink satellite communications, was destroyed.
Satellite images captured the locations of the complex’s burned-out installations. After the strike, the Russians moved some of the trailers containing the equipment.
“Volna Kupol Garant” consists of several trailers equipped with satellite antennas and is capable of jamming Starlink signals within a radius of about 20 square kilometers. According to Militarnyi’s estimates, the cost of a single such system can reach 150 million rubles.

According to the publication, the system’s powerful radiation makes it easy to quickly pinpoint its location, which leaves such systems vulnerable to attacks.
