A woman injured in shelling in Sumy region
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked 19 settlements in the Sumy region. As a result of the enemy shelling, a civilian woman was injured. Information regarding the extent of the destruction and the full consequences of the attacks is being уточнено.

“Over the course of the day, from the morning of 24 February to the morning of 25 February 2026, Russian troops carried out more than 30 shelling attacks on 19 settlements across 10 territorial communities of the region. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts,” the statement said.
According to the regional administration, the enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs across the territory of the Sumy region.
It is noted that in the Sumy community, a 37-year-old woman was injured as a result of an enemy drone strike. Private houses and passenger cars were also damaged in the community.
As a result of attacks in the Seredyna-Buda community, a private residential house was destroyed and a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a private house was damaged; in the Shostka community, non-residential premises were damaged; and in the Znob-Novhorodske and Berezivka communities, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Over the past day, 13 people were evacuated from border communities.
Air raid alerts in the region lasted for 14 hours and 25 minutes over the past 24 hours.
It was also reported that Russia destroyed an enterprise in the Sumy region with a missile strike.
A Ukrainian missile strike likely disabled a combined heat and power plant in Belgorod.

In the Belgorod Oblast, more than 220,000 people remain without electricity.
