A man was killed and others were injured in the Sumy region due to Russian attacks
In the Sumy region, a 64-year-old man was killed as a result of Russian attacks, and 15 other people were injured. Police are documenting the aftermath of the shelling and investigating the circumstances of the attacks.
In the Sumy community, a 64-year-old man was killed as a result of strikes by Russian forces using guided aerial bombs.
The following individuals were injured:
men aged 73, 69, 64, 50, 50, and 37;
women aged 76 and 69;
a 14-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl.
In addition, a 40-year-old man was injured as a result of an attack by a Russian UAV.
In the Sadivska community, a 30-year-old man sustained injuries as a result of a drone attack.
In the Khutir-Mykhailivska community, three women aged 78, 71, and 56 were injured after a Russian drone strike.
In addition, a 60-year-old man sought medical attention after sustaining injuries from a drone attack carried out on September 15 in the Seredyna-Budsk community.
In total, one person was killed and 15 others were injured as a result of Russian attacks in the Sumy region. Law enforcement officials continue to document the consequences of the shelling.

Five people were injured as a result of Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district. In total, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 900 strikes on 50 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In Kyiv, the number of people injured as a result of the Russian missile and drone attack on September 17 rose to 16. Among them are two children.
On the night of September 17, Russian forces carried out a massive combined attack on Ukraine. The occupiers used ballistic and cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, and more than 150 attack drones, focusing their main strikes on the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions.
Russia also launched missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties.
Earlier, Russia struck Odesa and damaged a high-rise building.
On September 15, a Russian drone strike was recorded in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District. Black smoke is rising from the site.
In the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, a strike was reported on the grounds of a garage cooperative.
