Two people were killed and others were injured in the Sumy region as a result of Russian strikes
In the Sumy region, two civilians were killed in Russian strikes over the past 24 hours. Another 14 people sustained injuries of varying severity. The circumstances of the attacks and the extent of the damage are being determined.
Damage to private homes, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure has also been reported.
In the Yampil community, a 57-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were killed when a UAV struck their home. Two children (a one-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl) and women aged 37, 39, 57, 75, and 78 were also injured.
In the Konotop community, three children (boys aged 2, 9, and 15), a 37-year-old woman, and a 47-year-old man were injured when an enemy drone struck a house.
In the Bilopil community, two men aged 37 and 54 were wounded when explosives were dropped from a drone onto a car.
Over the course of 24 hours, from the morning of June 4 to the morning of June 5, Russian troops carried out more than 40 attacks on 23 settlements in 19 territorial communities of the region. The enemy used artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.
The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.
Over the past 24 hours, the air raid alert in the Sumy region lasted 20 hours and 26 minutes.

As a reminder, on June 4, the General Staff updated the map of combatoperations and recorded 279 clashes.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate reported on drones with a range of up to 3,500 km.
