In the Zhytomyr region, infrastructure and homes were damaged in a drone attack

In the Zhytomyr region, infrastructure facilities and private homes were damaged as a result of yet another attack by Russian drones. Enemy drones struck the region, causing damage to civilian facilities. Relevant services are on the ground, assessing the consequences of the attack and repairing the damage. Information regarding the extent of the destruction and possible casualties is being clarified.

“The enemy is once again striking logistics infrastructure and private residential areas in the north of the region. Air defense forces destroyed many enemy drones, though some of them still caused damage to infrastructure facilities,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the fires that broke out at the impact sites have been extinguished.

No reports of casualties or injuries resulting from the enemy strikes have been received.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported overnight that drones were moving toward Ovruch, Korosten, and Malyn in northern Zhytomyr Oblast.

This was reported by Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

In the Odesa region, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged by a drone attack.

In the Kyiv region, efforts are underway to extinguish a large-scale fire at an industrial facility caused by a nighttime attack by Russian drones. Units of the State Emergency Service are involved in the firefighting, and cleanup operations are ongoing.

On the night of June 4, Russian forces carried out a massive air attack using a ballistic missile and 293 drones of various types. Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed or intercepted 264 aerial targets.
