Four people died in a Russian strike on a factory in the Brovary district
At least four people were killed and several others were injured in the Brovary district on June 5 as a result of a Russian drone attack on the Kyiv region. Rescue operations and searches for people trapped under the rubble are ongoing at the site of the strike.
Russian troops struck a civilian food processing plant where employees were present at the time of the attack.
“The enemy struck a civilian food processing plant and people who were simply doing their jobs at their workplaces at that moment,” emphasized the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
As of 10:12 a.m., it is known that the death toll from the strike has risen to four people. There are also injured.
As a result of the strike, a large-scale fire broke out in the administrative building on the enterprise’s premises, and structures were partially destroyed.
“A fire is still burning in the administrative building on the company’s premises, and the structure has been partially destroyed,” Kalashnik reported.
According to preliminary reports, people may still be trapped under the rubble. Rescue workers are continuing the search and rescue operation.
“According to preliminary information, people may still be inside the building; the search is ongoing,” the head of the Regional State Administration noted.
Meanwhile, State Emergency Service personnel have already managed to rescue two employees of the enterprise.
“Rescuers have already managed to free two employees,” Kalashnik reported.
All necessary emergency services are working at the scene. Efforts are underway to address the aftermath of the Russian attack, search for possible victims, and extinguish the fire.

In the Sumy region, two civilians were killed over the past day as a result of Russian strikes. Another 14 people sustained injuries of varying severity. The circumstances of the attacks and the extent of the damage are being clarified.

As a result of the enemy strike, a private residential building was destroyed, and one critical infrastructure facility was damaged.
