The fiercest fighting is taking place in the Huliaipole area

Since the start of the day, Russian forces have launched 61 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The situation remains most critical in the Huliaipole sector, where the enemy has carried out more than two dozen assaults. Active combat operations are also ongoing in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kostyantynivka sectors.

 

The Russian army continues to press along the entire front line. As of this evening, 61 combat engagements have been recorded since the start of the day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions came under enemy fire. In particular, the towns of Sopych, Rohizne, Korenok, Neskuchne, Malushyne, Volfyne, Bachivsk, Ryzhivka, Bunyakine, and Holubivka in the Sumy region, as well as Tymonovychi in the Chernihiv region, were shelled. In addition, Russian aircraft struck Pavlivka in the Sumy region.

One combat engagement took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions. The Russians dropped nine guided bombs and carried out 24 shelling attacks, four of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses three times. Fighting took place in the areas of Vovchansk and Lyman; one clash is still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian troops stopped an enemy attempt to advance toward Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman sector, the occupiers attacked the positions of the Defense Forces six times. Fighting took place near Novy Mir, Drobysheve, Lyman, Dibrova, Torske, and Ozerny. Two clashes are ongoing. The Russians carried out four more assaults in the Sloviansk direction, where they attempted to advance near Kryva Luka and Zakytne.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector during the day.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out four attacks. Fighting took place in the areas of Ivanopil, Illinivka, and Kostiantynivka. One clash is still ongoing.

The Pokrovsk direction remains one of the most active. Here, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 assaults. Russian troops attacked near Vasylivka, Hryshyne, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Novopidhorodne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out one attack near Vorone.

The hottest situation developed in the Huliaipole sector. Here, Russian troops carried out 21 attacks, and five clashes were still ongoing as of the evening. The enemy attempted to advance near Rybne, Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Huliaipilske, Ternuvate, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks in the areas of Stepove and Stepnogorsk.

Russian troops made another attempt to advance in the Dnipro direction near the Antonivsky Bridge.

At the same time, no signs of enemy offensive groupings have been detected in the Volyn and Polissya sectors.

The General Staff notes that Ukrainian forces continue to hold back the enemy’s advance and prevent them from carrying out their plans in key sectors of the front. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

On the night of June 10, drones attacked the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in Russia’s Samara region. Following the strikes, a massive fire broke out at the facility, which, according to local residents, was visible from various parts of the city.

A fuel shortage is expected across Russia through August.
