Russia attacked a zoo in Kharkiv: animals were injured
On June 15, Russian troops struck the grounds of the Kharkiv Zoo. The attack damaged the animal enclosures and injured the animals.
This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
According to him, the fact that the zoo was hit has already been confirmed. Experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage and determining the consequences of the shelling.
“It has been confirmed that the zoo was hit—there is damage to the enclosures, and we are clarifying other details,” Terekhov said.
Also, according to preliminary information, animals were injured as a result of the Russian strike.
