Official: The SBU has attacked one of Russia's largest oil refineries in Perm

For the second time in two days, SBU drones have struck oil infrastructure in the Perm region. Among the targets were one of Russia’s largest oil refineries and an oil supply control center.

This was reported by the Security Service’s official channel.

Drones from the SBU’s “Alpha” Special Operations Center have successfully targeted Russian oil infrastructure near Perm for the second day in a row. Today, flames are rising at the Lukoil-Permnaftorgsintez refinery, located more than 1,500 km from Ukraine.

This is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries, with a capacity of nearly 13 million tons per year, supplying fuel to both the civilian sector and the Russian military.

According to preliminary information, the AVT-4 unit—a key component of the primary oil refining process—was hit at the refinery. As a result of the strike, the vacuum and atmospheric distillation columns caught fire. Their damage effectively puts the unit out of commission.

Also today, the SBU struck the “Perm” linear production and dispatch station again, which supplies oil to the Lukoil-Permnaftorgsintez refinery. Security Service drones had already targeted this station yesterday. Today, new fire outbreaks appeared there.

The enemy must realize one simple thing: it no longer has a “safe rear.” Distance no longer guarantees protection—every region where enterprises are working to support the war against Ukraine is within reach. The SBU has already demonstrated its ability to carry out successful strikes over long distances and will continue to systematically target such facilities.

As a reminder, in Tuapse, residents were urged to evacuate following a drone attack (video).

Residents of Tuapse, Russia, are increasingly complaining about the unbearable living conditions in this frontline city. Once a popular resort, it has turned into an area of environmental disaster and constant danger due to regular explosions at local industrial facilities.

In Tuapse, Russia, while cleaning up the aftermath of an oil spill, the city beach was covered with a new layer of pebbles. At the same time, local residents and environmentalists claim that traces of fuel oil are still visible near the water and that a full cleanup has not taken place.
