Ukrzaliznytsia damaged during night attack on Kyiv
On the night of 25 November, Kyiv came under a powerful attack that damaged key infrastructure.
Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba reported that Ukrzaliznytsia was hit, causing damage to rail carriages and contact networks, but train services were not suspended. Railway workers have already begun repairs to ensure transport operations continue as normal.
In the Odesa region, around 140,000 households were left without heating following strikes on critical facilities. Life-support infrastructure is running on backup power, and over 160 Points of Invincibility remain operational, providing essential services to residents.
Port infrastructure in Chornomorsk was also damaged, affecting administrative buildings and cargo-handling equipment. Restoration work is already underway.
The Russian Federation has targeted energy and port infrastructure in the Odesa region and launched UAV strikes on Pavlohrad.
