Six people, including a child, were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling

On June 8, six civilians, including a 14-year-old boy, were injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Kherson region.

According to the investigation, Russian troops shelled settlements in the region with barrel and rocket artillery, and also used various types of drones.

As of 5:30 p.m., six casualties have been reported. Three people were injured in Kherson. One person each was injured in Darivka and Zarichne as a result of explosives dropped from drones.

Around 2:10 p.m., Russian troops shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson. As a result of the attack, a 14-year-old boy sustained blast injuries, a closed head injury, and a concussion. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.

In addition to the casualties, private homes, apartment buildings, a bank building, garages, and vehicles were damaged.

Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down 249 of the 272 drones that Russian troops launched into the country’s territory starting on the evening of June 5.

Since the evening, Russian troops have carried out nearly 30 attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, using drones and artillery. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and three others were wounded.

Authorities in Zaporizhzhia reported a new type of attack in which a Russian “Shahed” drone allegedly delivers FPV drones directly to the city center and drops them on civilian targets. Officials report a change in the enemy’s tactics and an increased threat to the city.
