According to him, information about the strike came in during an air raid alert. “We have information that an enemy strike drone struck a high-rise residential building in the Saltivsky district,” Terekhov said. The mayor later clarified that the strike damaged the roof of the high-rise residential building.
All necessary emergency services immediately began working at the scene. Rescue workers and utility crews are inspecting the building, assessing its condition, and addressing the aftermath of the attack. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. “The roof of the high-rise building was damaged as a result of the enemy strike; specialized services are working at the scene,” the mayor of Kharkiv said.
Information regarding possible additional damage is currently being verified. Authorities are urging city residents not to ignore air raid sirens and to remain in shelters until an official all-clear is announced. Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced this on Telegram.
