A Russian missile drone struck the Rozetka warehouse on the morning of August 1. At the time of the attack, about 270 people were working there. One employee was killed, and seven others were injured and are in the hospital; one of them is in serious condition.
Russian forces attacked the Rozetka warehouse on the morning of Saturday, August 1. According to preliminary reports, the strike was carried out by a jet-powered drone. Iryna Chechotkina, a co-owner of the company, reported on the consequences of the attack.
According to her, there were about 270 employees at the warehouse at the time of the strike. “At that moment, 270 people were working at the warehouse. Unfortunately, our colleague Volodymyr Melnychenko was killed. Seven others are currently in the hospital, one of whom is in critical condition,” Chechotkina wrote on Facebook.
Thus, one company employee was killed and seven others were injured as a result of the Russian attack. Rozetka stated that it would assist all those affected and their families. The company promises to provide them with the necessary medical, psychological, and financial support.
Chechotkina also expressed her condolences to the family of the deceased employee. “Unfortunately, nothing can bring a person back to life. All our thoughts and sympathies are with the family. Everything else—we will rebuild and restore. Rozetka is still operating,” emphasized the company’s co-owner. The consequences of the strike and the circumstances of the attack are being investigated.
