Voronezh may have been struck by Storm Shadow missiles
In Voronezh, smoke was reported in the area of the airfield following explosions. According to analysts, this was likely caused by a strike from Storm Shadow missiles. On the morning of May 27, explosions were heard in Voronezh, Russia, after which smoke rose in the area of the “Baltimore” military airfield, which had already been attacked. Local authorities reported the destruction of two aerial targets. Meanwhile, OSINT analysts suggest that the strike may have been carried out using Storm Shadow missiles.
As ASTRA found out, footage of smoke spreading specifically in the area of the military airfield was circulating on social media.
Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev stated that Russian air defenses allegedly destroyed two “high-speed targets” over the city, and that following the “fall of debris,” a tire repair shop and a residential building sustained damage.
