Border guards destroyed a camouflaged "Msta-B" and the occupiers' equipment
Border guards from the "Steel Border" unit delivered precision strikes against a camouflaged Russian "Msta-B" howitzer, as well as enemy equipment and infrastructure in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. As a result, shelters, communication antennas, and an ammunition depot were also destroyed, and casualties among the occupiers’ personnel were confirmed.
Ukrainian border guards from the “Steel Border” unit continue to systematically knock out enemy positions in frontline areas, striking at the enemy’s equipment, shelters, and logistics as they attempt to conceal their forces. Another series of strikes was recorded in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, where the enemy was actively attempting to conceal its artillery and the movement of equipment.
According to the unit’s report, a camouflaged 152-mm “Msta-B” howitzer—one of the Russian army’s primary artillery systems used to shell Ukrainian positions—was hit. In addition, a vehicle and a motorcycle used by the occupiers to transport and support their units were destroyed.
The strikes were not limited to equipment: Ukrainian troops also hit enemy infrastructure, specifically an artillery ammunition depot used to resupply firing positions. As a result of the strikes, six shelters and two communications antennas were destroyed, significantly complicating the enemy’s coordination of actions in this sector.
Separately, enemy casualties were confirmed, resulting from the unit’s precise actions during the operation. “Steel Border” emphasizes that such strikes are aimed at systematically weakening the capabilities of the occupying forces and destroying their logistics and command structures on the front lines.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 725 strikes on 39 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, two people were killed and ten others were wounded.
On the evening of April 20, two local residents were killed in an attack by an enemy FPV drone on Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The strike damaged high-rise buildings, private homes, and vehicles.
