Syrsky ordered an inspection of supplies for troops on the front lines

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has instructed the commanders of the task forces and corps stationed on the front line to conduct an inspection of the organization of logistical support for the troops by May 20.

This was stated in a post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is reported that the inspections concern logistics for soldiers stationed on the front lines of defense.

“Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi has ordered group commanders and corps commanders to inspect the organization of logistical support for military personnel performing tasks on the front lines of defense by May 20. He also ordered them to take all measures to ensure the provision of transport, evacuation, ground robotic systems, and other equipment,” the statement said.

As a reminder, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made personnel decisions regarding the command of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade following media attention regarding a critical situation with the supply of troops in the Kupiansk direction.

Prior to this, information appeared on social media about an allegedly critical situation regarding the supply of soldiers from the 14th Brigade’s 2nd Mechanized Battalion, who are stationed at their positions without sufficient food and water.

Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation between Russian Armed Forces soldiers complaining about critical problems with food and water supplies at their positions. This indicates serious difficulties with the logistical support of Russian units.
