In Dnipro, a Shahed drone crashed into an apartment but did not explode

In Dnipro, during a nighttime attack by Russian forces, a kamikaze drone struck a residential apartment but did not detonate.

This was reported by the city’s mayor, Boris Filatov.

According to him, a Shahed-type drone flew directly into the apartment’s window. Despite the direct hit, the residents were unharmed.

“Everyone survived. Because it didn’t explode. Cases like this are truly one in a million,” Filatov noted.

Specialists are currently on site working to defuse the unexploded ordnance and clean up the aftermath of the strike.

The mayor also thanked the services working at the sites of the shelling and emphasized that the city continues to function despite the constant attacks.

The past 24 hours in the Kharkiv region were marked by intense Russian shelling, which killed a 61-year-old woman and injured seven others, including a one-and-a-half-year-old child; strikes hit both Kharkiv and a number of settlements in the region.

Following a nighttime attack on Dnipro, rescue workers recovered the bodies of two victims from the rubble of a destroyed building; however, according to preliminary data, people may still be trapped under the debris, and search operations continue. The number of casualties has risen to 21; medical personnel continue to provide assistance, and all emergency services are on the scene.
