A Wildberries saleswoman called on Russian authorities to support businesses following attacks on warehouses
Marina Gorshkova, the founder of a cosmetics brand that sells products on Wildberries, has called on Russian authorities to support entrepreneurs following attacks on the marketplace’s warehouses. According to her, a large number of small and medium-sized businesses have been affected by the fires.
The entrepreneur stated that her company alone has paid approximately 45 million rubles in taxes over the past year and a half. She warned that business closures would lead to a decline in tax revenue and job losses.
Gorshkova proposed exempting Wildberries sellers from paying taxes for at least a year, as well as providing a payment deferral so that entrepreneurs could resume operations.
In addition, she called on the authorities to ensure that Wildberries fulfills its obligations to sellers, noting that she is currently unable to retrieve her own goods from the warehouse.

Earlier, Wildberries removed the search for military goods following a request from “Everything for the Defense.”
