Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked 15 settlements in the Kharkiv region, injuring at least eight people.
This was reported by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, on Facebook.
In various communities across the region, injuries and acute stress reactions among civilians have been reported.
In the village of Hontarivka, Starosaltivska community, a 53-year-old man was injured.
In the village of Husynka, Kindrashivska community, a 41-year-old man, a 40-year-old man, and a 44-year-old woman were injured.
In Chuhuiv, acute stress reactions were reported in a 25-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man.
In Zolochiv, a 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were injured.
In Izyum, a 54-year-old man was injured as a result of an explosion caused by an unknown device.
Russian forces used a wide range of weapons in the Kharkiv region, including: MLRS, “Geran-2” UAVs, “Molniya” UAVs, FPV drones, as well as other unmanned aerial vehicles, the type of which is being determined.
As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, infrastructure, and social facilities were damaged in several districts.
In the Bohodukhiv district, damage was reported to private and apartment buildings, power lines, farm buildings, a community center, and vehicles.
In the Kupiansk district, private homes and cars were damaged; in the Izyum district, residential buildings and power lines were damaged. In the Lozova district, a grain elevator was damaged, and in the Chuhuiv district, a warehouse, a gas station, a post office, and an administrative building were damaged.
The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 182 people over the past 24 hours. In total, 35,265 evacuees have been registered there since it began operations.
Russian attacks on the Kharkiv region continue, using drones, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and other weapons, resulting in civilian casualties and widespread destruction of infrastructure.
On the night of May 21, Russian occupiers attacked Dnipro, resulting in damage to a five-story residential building in the city.
On May 20, Russian troops launched a drone strike on an industrial facility in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region.
