Russia attacked transportation infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region, causing fires to break out

Russian troops attacked transportation infrastructure facilities in the Zhytomyr region overnight. The strike caused fires, which emergency responders have already contained.

“Last night, the enemy attacked the Zhytomyr region again. Transportation infrastructure facilities were targeted. There is currently no information on casualties or injuries resulting from the enemy attack,” said the head of the regional military administration.

According to Vitaliy Bunechko, fires broke out at the sites following the strikes.

Rescue workers quickly arrived at the scenes and contained the fires. Information regarding the consequences of the Russian attack is currently being verified.

As a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv on the morning of September 25, a 14-year-old teenager was killed, and three other people were injured. All of the victims were hospitalized.

Overnight, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 295 strike drones, 52 of which were jet-powered. Air defense forces shot down 267 enemy UAVs.

In the Kherson region, nine people were injured over the past 24 hours as a result of Russian aggression. All of the victims sustained injuries due to Russian attacks on the region.

As a reminder, in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, a residential area was destroyed as a result of a Russian attack on September 24. According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities among the residents.

Also, in Obolon, a UAV crashed onto the grounds of a garage cooperative.
