Russia launched 40 strikes on the Sumy region over the past 24 hours; there are casualties and damage

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 40 strikes on 17 settlements in nine territorial communities in the Sumy region. The attacks resulted in casualties and significant damage to civilian infrastructure.

In the Sumy community, a 56-year-old man was injured as a result of a strike by a Russian drone.

Two more people were injured in the Sadivska community after being struck by a UAV. The victims are a 43-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman.

In addition, a 26-year-old man sought medical attention after being injured in a strike by guided aerial bombs on the Sumy community on September 23.

The highest number of Russian strikes was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

Russian troops used artillery, mortars, FPV drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and guided aerial bombs in their attacks across the region.

As a result of the shelling, civilian facilities were damaged and destroyed.

In the Sumy community, private homes, non-residential buildings, and vehicles were damaged.

In the Sadivska community, private homes and passenger cars were damaged.

In the Esman community, a private home was destroyed as a result of a Russian strike.

Another private home was destroyed in the Seredino-Budsk community.

In addition, in the Zno-Novgorod and Hlukhiv communities, non-residential buildings and equipment were destroyed, and an apartment building was damaged as a result of previous Russian strikes.
