Russian strikes on the Sumy region have claimed the lives of two people; others have been wounded
As of the morning of September 28, two people have been killed in the Sumy region as a result of Russian attacks. Eight others were injured, including a child.
The National Police of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
In the Sumy community, an 80-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were killed as a result of a strike by KAB missiles.
Eight other people were injured, including a 12-year-old girl.
Residential buildings and educational institutions were damaged.
Damage was reported in the Hlukhiv and Seredyna-Bud communities.



Police are documenting the aftermath of the Russian attacks.
As a reminder, Russia attacked 19 settlements in the Kherson region over the past 24 hours.
The Russian Federation also carried out 712 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.
A private home was damaged as a result of a nighttime Russian attack on the Rivne region.
A Russian attack on the Kyiv region has resulted in fatalities and injuries.
