Russia attacked Kramatorsk with drones; one woman was killed and four people were wounded

On the evening of October 5, Russian troops launched a series of strikes on Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, one woman was killed, four other people were injured, and ambulances and high-rise buildings were damaged.

 

This was reported on Facebook by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

First, from 10:00 p.m. to 10:25 p.m., the occupiers struck emergency medical vehicles parked on the street with FPV drones. Three medical workers were injured while trying to save the vehicles after the first strike, the prosecutor’s office explained.

“The men were diagnosed with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds to the torso and limbs, burns, and concussions. The victims received qualified medical care. Three ambulances were damaged.”

Russian forces also struck a high-rise building with an FPV drone. As a result of the attack, a 49-year-old woman was killed, and another Kramatorsk resident was injured: she sustained a broken foot, shrapnel wounds to her torso and limbs, and a concussion.

Law enforcement authorities are investigating the shelling of Kramatorsk on the evening of October 5 as war crimes under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The penalty carries a sentence of up to 15 years or life imprisonment.

As a reminder, Russia struck a residential building in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties.
