Russia is preparing key bridges in anticipation of possible Ukrainian attacks
In Russia, key logistics hubs—including road and rail bridges—are being prepared for possible ballistic missile strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. These are crossings that are critical for supplying Russian military units.
According to traffic agents, including employees of the Rostov Region Road Administration, civilian and military agencies have received instructions from the headquarters of the Russian Federation’s Southern Military District to urgently prepare key logistics facilities for possible attacks by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to “ATESH,” Rosavtodor, Russian Railways, and regional administrations have received relevant instructions from the General Staff of the Russian Federation and the headquarters of the military districts.
The focus is on key crossings used to supply Russian military units.
In particular, in the Rostov region, work is underway to reinforce road and rail bridges across the Don River, and alternative routes are being prepared in case the main transportation routes are damaged.
According to the partisan movement, similar measures are being implemented in the Taganrog area.
In the Crimean sector, the Russian side expects a resumption of active attacks in the Syvash and Virmenske areas.
In the Belgorod region, bridges near Shelyaevoye and Urazovo are being placed on high alert.
“ATESH” notes that the Russian military expects precision strikes on local crossings. According to their assessment, this could slow down the delivery of ammunition and force Russian equipment to accumulate on detour routes.
To protect strategic facilities, the Russians plan to implement a set of measures.
Specifically, this includes round-the-clock patrols by Rosgvardia posts and military command posts, the installation of anti-drone nets and electronic warfare equipment, as well as the creation of pontoon bridge backups and engineering teams.
The “ATESH” guerrilla movement emphasizes the importance of bridges for Russian military logistics.
“Bridges remain the main supply arteries for the Russian army. Damaging them blocks the supply of fuel, ammunition, and personnel,” “ATESH” noted.
The “ATESH” partisan movement reported this on Telegram.
Russia, the aggressor state, attacked the North Bridge in Kyiv for the second time in two days. In the morning, a drone struck the bridge’s road surface, injuring two people. One of the victims was hospitalized, while the other received medical attention at the scene, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.
Meanwhile, trains on the metro’s “green” line are once again transporting passengers between the right and left banks of the Dnipro River despite the yellow-level threat alert. Before resuming passenger service, specialists conducted test runs of trial trains in both directions.
