Russians wounded Red Cross workers who were on their way to the site of the attack
In the Zaporizhzhia region, two members of the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response team were injured while responding to the aftermath of enemy shelling. An explosion occurred near the organization’s marked vehicle as the crew was heading to the scene of the emergency to assist people.
As a result of the incident, one of the staff members sustained a shrapnel wound and is currently in the hospital, while the other suffered minor injuries and has already been discharged after receiving medical care. The organization strongly condemned the Russian Federation’s attacks, which put humanitarian workers and specialized vehicles at risk.
