On the morning of March 25, Russian forces launched an attack using strike drones on a fire station in the Shostka District of Sumy Oblast.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional State Emergency Service on Telegram.
As a result of the attack, the building sustained significant damage, and the firefighting equipment inside was completely destroyed.
As noted by rescue workers, approximately one hour after the first strike, a second strike was launched against the unit, underscoring the systematic nature of the attack.
In the Chernihiv district, an energy facility was damaged as a result of the enemy attack, causing a power outage for consumers. Approximately 150,000 customers in the city of Chernihiv and the Chernihiv district are without power.
On March 24, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on western regions of Ukraine using kamikaze drones. In Lviv, one of the drones struck a building in the city center, causing a fire.
This attack was part of a large-scale air offensive by the Russian Federation that on March 24 swept across several regions of Ukraine, including critical infrastructure facilities in the rear regions.
