Kyiv has begun stockpiling food and drinking water in preparation for prolonged power outages and other emergencies. The city aims to prepare reserves in advance that can be used at resilience centers and to assist residents in the event of large-scale disruptions.

A new air threat warning system went into operation in Kyiv on September 6. Now, city residents will receive notifications not only about the fact that a threat exists but also about its type—drone, missile, or a combination of both.
