Russia may have ramped up production of Oreshnik missiles — Defence Express
Russia has likely ramped up production of its "Oreshnik" medium-range ballistic missiles, which may indicate a growing threat of retaliatory strikes against Ukraine.
This is reported by Defence Express.
Analysts have noted a shortening of the intervals between the use of this missile. While approximately one year and six months elapsed between the first and second strikes—from November 2024 to January 2026—only about four and a half months passed between the second and third launches.
According to experts, this trend may indicate an increase in the production of this type of weapon, although there is currently no official confirmation of this information.
According to Defence Express, the “Oreshnik” is a medium-range ballistic missile with six warheads, which is also capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.
