Russia has issued an international arrest warrant for Fedorov and Reznikov
Russia’s Investigative Committee announced that it had issued a so-called international arrest warrant for former Ukrainian Defense Ministers Mykhailo Fedorov and Oleksiy Reznikov. Russian law enforcement agencies have charged the Ukrainian officials in absentia with alleged involvement in crimes against the civilian population in Donbas.
The Russian Investigative Committee has allegedly established the involvement of former Ukrainian government officials in events in eastern Ukraine. Representatives of the “terrorist state” accuse the former Ukrainian officials of allegedly organizing military operations in the region.
Former Defense Ministers Reznikov and Fedorov carried out punitive operations in Donbas. Charges have been brought against them in absentia, the Russian agency stated.
Against the backdrop of these charges in absentia, the occupying authorities announced that both former officials had been added to the list of wanted persons.
Earlier, a political analyst criticized Fedorov for the failure to defend the airspace and for the presentation of the “Army of Robots.”
Prior to this, Fedorov had returned to Kyiv and announced new projects.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he had not been in contact with former Minister Mykhailo Fedorov recently.
