Russia struck Odesa with drones: infrastructure facility damaged, fire broke out

In Odesa, one of the city’s infrastructure facilities was hit as a result of a drone attack. A fire broke out. Work to eliminate the consequences of the strike is ongoing.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

On the night of December 26, the enemy once again attacked Odesa with drones. One of them hit an infrastructure facility in the city.

According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities or injuries, Serhii Lysak said.

All relevant services are working at the impact site. Specialists are also inspecting the surrounding area to identify possible damage to civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.

Separately, according to the head of the CMA, the situation along the coastline is being monitored. Experts from the Ukrainian Scientific Center of Marine Ecology are monitoring the condition of seawater and assessing the environmental consequences of the incident.

By decision of the city commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations, work is being carried out along the coast to localize and eliminate pollution.

Energy workers continue restoring electricity supply to residents’ homes.

Earlier, a Russian attack once again left Mykolaiv without power, and invincibility points are being opened in the city.
