Defense forces repelled more than 220 attacks and stopped 46 assaults in the Pokrovsk sector
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have steadfastly repelled the advance of the occupying forces, recording a record 223 combat engagements across the entire front line.
The most critical and tense situation remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where our soldiers successfully repelled 46 assaults by the Russian aggressor.
The invaders continue to suffer significant losses in manpower and equipment as they attempt to break through Ukrainian defenses.
Overall, an extremely high intensity of enemy strikes has been recorded across the entire country.
“Over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 93 airstrikes, dropping 269 guided bombs. In addition, the invaders deployed 9,928 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,204 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 45 of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems,” the military command noted.
In particular, the areas around the settlements of Vorozhba, Pygariwka, and Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region came under attack by Russian aviation.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces demonstrated exceptional resilience during massive enemy attacks.
Our defenders repelled 46 assault operations by the aggressor in the areas of Toretsk, Sofiivka, Kuchero-Yar, Bilytske, Matyashivka, Vasylivka, and many other frontline towns and villages.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of the units, the enemy failed to achieve its objectives and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory.
Heavy fighting also continued in other key sectors of the eastern and southern fronts. In the Huliaipole sector, there were 28 attacks by the occupiers, and in the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 17 assaults.
Additionally, 10 enemy attempts to advance were recorded in the Lyman and Oleksandrivka sectors, where Ukrainian troops effectively thwarted all offensive attempts by Russian forces.
In the remaining sectors, the situation remains under control, though Russian troops have not ceased active combat operations.
In the Sloviansk direction, 8 attacks were repelled; in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, 5; and in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, four combat engagements took place.
In the Kupiansk and Orikhiv sectors, defenders repelled three assaults each, while in the Dnipro sector, fighting took place in the areas of the Antonivsky Bridge and Bilohrudy Island.
Ukrainian troops continue to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting effective fire damage on them.
