The temporarily occupied territories came under a massive drone attack
On the night of June 6, Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories came under a massive drone attack.
Powerful explosions and large-scale fires were reported in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as on the Crimean Peninsula.
Key energy and transportation infrastructure facilities, which Russian occupation forces actively use to support their units, came under attack.
One of the main targets of the attack was the Zuivska Thermal Power Plant, located in the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast.
According to monitoring sources, a massive fire broke out at the power plant following precision strikes.
At the same time, the Ukrainian military brought an important logistics route used by the occupiers in the south under heavy fire, significantly complicating enemy logistics.
A separate series of strikes was recorded in the area of the occupied city of Chystyakove, formerly known as Torez.
According to preliminary data, the railway infrastructure there, which the invaders used to transport military cargo, has been significantly damaged.
Following the explosions at the railway facilities, a large-scale fire broke out, which the occupiers attempted to contain for several hours.
In the Luhansk region, other key logistics hubs and critical power substations came under drone attack.
Local sources report several fire outbreaks, the flames from which were visible at a considerable distance from the epicenter. The invaders’ oil infrastructure in eastern Ukraine also suffered significant damage.
