A direct hit was recorded in Chaiky, Kyiv Oblast, as a result of a Russian attack
In the village of Chaiky, Borshchahivka Community, Kyiv Oblast, a strike was recorded during yet another Russian attack. Emergency and relevant services are already on the scene. This marks the sixth air raid alert in Kyiv and the region in the past 24 hours.
Oleksandr Medvid, acting head of the Borshchahivka village council, reported the strike in Chaiky. “As a result of yet another enemy attack, a strike was recorded in the village of Chaiky. All relevant services are on the scene,” he said. According to Medvid, information about the consequences of the attack is currently being verified. Rescue workers and other services are working directly at the scene.
Residents have been urged not to approach the site of the strike. Local authorities are also asking people not to post photos or videos showing the aftermath of the attack, as such information could help Russian forces adjust their future strikes. An air raid alert remains in effect in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. This is the sixth alert in the region in the past 24 hours.
Local residents are urged to remain in shelters until the official all-clear is given. Do not go outside just because there is a temporary lull, as the threat of new strikes remains. At this time, there is no official information regarding fatalities or injuries resulting from the strike in Chayky. These figures may change once emergency services have completed their work.

In Kyiv and several regions, an air raid alert was declared at 6:24 p.m. on September 1 due to the threat of Russian UAVs. The Ukrainian Air Force urged citizens to immediately seek shelter or follow the “two-walls rule” if they do not have access to safe buildings.
