Russia has lost dozens of ships in the Black and Azov Seas
Since the start of the full-scale war, Ukraine has destroyed 9 large warships of the Russian Navy, 6 combat and patrol vessels, 6 support ships, 3 landing or transport ships, and one submarine in the Black and Azov Seas.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“Without a fleet—against a fleet: Ukraine has effectively defeated the aggressor in waters it considered ‘home turf,’” the Ministry of Defense noted.
Russia’s losses in the Black and Azov Seas during the war: 9 large combat ships, 6 combat and patrol ships, 6 support vessels, 3 landing or transport ships, one submarine, and dozens of boats and small vessels.
“The remaining Russian ships have retreated from Crimea and are hiding in Novorossiysk. And we know exactly where,” the Ministry of Defense noted.

- March 25, 2022: “Saratov” — a large amphibious assault ship, struck by a “Tochka-U” ballistic missile;
- April 13, 2022: “Moscow” — a missile cruiser, struck by “Neptune” missiles;

May 7, 2022: “Serna,” “Raptor”—landing craft, struck by Bayraktar TB2 drones;
May 12, 2022: Vsevolod Bobrov — a support vessel, struck by a missile;
June 17, 2022: “Spasatel Vasily Bekh” — a tugboat, struck by missiles;
October 29, 2022: “Admiral Makarov” — a frigate, struck by naval and aerial drones;

October 29, 2022: “Ivan Golubets” — minesweeper, struck by naval drones;
August 4, 2023: “Olenegorsky Gornyak” — a large landing ship, struck by drones;

- September 13, 2023: The submarine “Rostov-on-Don” and the large landing ship “Minsk” were struck by missiles;

October 11, 2023: patrol ship “Pavel Derzhavin” — struck by a Ukrainian mine;
October 13, 2023: a small missile ship of the “Buyan-M” class, struck by naval drones;
November 4, 2023: The missile corvette “Askold” was hit by missiles;

It is noted that as of early 2026, approximately 30% of the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s combat strength has been lost or seriously damaged.
Ukrainian defense forces struck Russian radar stations, command posts, and logistics facilities.
Additionally, explosions were heard again in the temporarily occupied Crimea on the evening of April 16 and overnight on April 17.
A fire broke out in Tuapse, Russia, following strikes on an oil refinery and port infrastructure. According to Ukrainian sources, sections of pipelines, oil loading stands, and part of the terminal connected to the refinery were damaged. The extent of the damage is being assessed, but a fire has been confirmed at the site. This was reported by the SBU.
