Food sales have been restricted in Sevastopol amid the fuel crisis
The effects of the fuel crisis are intensifying on the temporarily occupied peninsula. In Sevastopol, some stores have begun imposing restrictions on the sale of certain food items.
According to reports, at the Dobrostroy supermarket, customers are allowed to purchase no more than three bottles of vegetable oil and three packages of pasta per person.
There is currently no information regarding restrictions on other goods, but the introduction of limits on food products indicates a worsening of the logistical situation on the peninsula.

Most food and fuel is delivered to Crimea by road via a land route that passes through the occupied territories of southern Ukraine. In recent weeks, this route has been subject to regular drone attacks, which are affecting cargo deliveries.
Fuel shortages began to escalate in late May, when Sevastopol imposed limits on the sale of gasoline and diesel fuel. Subsequently, the largest gas station chains stopped selling fuel vouchers to the public, and lines stretching for several kilometers formed at some gas stations.
The difficult situation has already affected the tourism industry. According to local sources, some tourists are canceling their reservations due to transportation and fuel problems.
