The Ukrainian Armed Forces have increased their shoot-down rate of Russian attack drones to 93%

During an awards ceremony for members of the Security and Defense Forces, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that, thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian defenders, the destruction rate of enemy attack UAVs has reached 93%. 

The head of state noted that Russian ballistic missiles remain a key challenge, and that protection against them requires further support from international partners. 

Zelenskyy also emphasized that on the night of July 29–30 alone, the Ukrainian Air Force and mobile fire groups destroyed more than 30 cruise missiles. He expressed gratitude to all service members, whose courage and professionalism enable the country to hold the front lines and repel enemy assaults.

The head of state made these remarks in a video address during an awards ceremony for Security and Defense Forces personnel, according to his Telegram channel.

As a reminder, on the night of July 30, Russian troops carried out one of the largest combined attacks on Ukraine, using over 70 missiles and more than 280 attack drones. Kyiv and the surrounding region, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, came under fire.

In Poland, during the massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the night of July 30, an air raid alert was issued in part of the Lublin Voivodeship. After the alert ended, a crater about 10 meters in diameter and debris from an unidentified object were discovered in a field near the villages of Tarnava-Kolonia and Tokary.
