Russia is buying gasoline from India that is produced from its own crude oil – FT
Russia is forced to import gasoline from India due to a fuel shortage caused by Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries. An oil tanker carrying 42,000 metric tons of gasoline is scheduled to arrive at a northern Russian port this Sunday.
The irony of the situation is that this fuel is produced from Russian raw materials. The cargo was loaded at the Vadinar refinery in India, where more than 90% of the crude oil processed comes from Russia, and 49% of the refinery itself is owned by Rosneft.
The fuel was loaded onto the tanker Agni on June 18 and later transshipped off the coast of Egypt onto the vessel Garnet, which is currently sailing along the Norwegian coast toward Russia.

Meanwhile, the fuel crisis in Russia is worsening: gasoline is running out at gas stations and lines are growing longer.
Russia has allowed the use of lower-quality gasoline due to the fuel crisis.
