Russia is firing missiles at Ukraine straight off the assembly line – Ignat
Russian forces are currently using cruise missiles for airstrikes on Ukrainian territory that were manufactured in factories just a few weeks before the attacks took place.
This was reported by Yuriy Ignat, head of the Communications Department of the Ukrainian Air Force, on the air during a broadcast on Novyny.LIVE.
The military official noted that the occupiers have temporarily ceased using the sea-based “Kalibr” cruise missiles. At the same time, Russian missile carriers remain on combat duty both in the Black Sea and as part of the Caspian Flotilla, from where the last launches were recorded several months ago. According to Ignat, this pause raises questions about the actual presence of these missiles in the enemy’s arsenals, which may indicate serious logistical or production difficulties for the Russians.
Instead, during recent shelling, the Russian army actively switched to using ground-based Iskander-K cruise missiles. Yuriy Ignat emphasized that Ukrainian experts are carefully examining and analyzing the debris of every downed missile after the attacks. Experts are studying internal components and part markings to clearly track exactly which foreign components and from which countries around the world are still reaching Russian military enterprises in circumvention of sanctions.
