Russia is launching Shahed drones at Ukraine immediately after production — Flash
Russian forces began using Shahed-type attack drones almost immediately after they were manufactured.
“Today, a Shahed that was manufactured just a few days ago flew into Kharkiv. The production date provides an indirect indication of the enemy’s weapon stockpiles. Shaheds typically arrive with a production date of 5–15 days ago. In other words, Russia is attacking us literally straight ‘from the factory,’” Beskrestnov noted.
In contrast, he said, the 9M723 Iskander ballistic missiles were manufactured in 2025. This means Russia constantly maintains a stockpile of at least 180–250 Iskanders.
“All Zircons are scheduled to arrive in 2026. The Kh-101 missiles are most often dated a few months prior to launch (2026). The S-400 (RM48U) systems are also scheduled to arrive in 2026. The X-59 missiles are dated to the third quarter of 2025,” Beskrestnov reported.
According to him, in general, it can be said that the production of UAVs and missiles in Russia does not allow for the formation of large stockpiles, and almost everything goes to the front.
Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov, an advisor to the Minister of Defense, reported this on Facebook.
