Russia launched 689 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours: there are casualties
Two women were injured in the Zaporizhzhia region as a result of Russian attacks on May 28. According to the Regional Military Administration, over the past 24 hours, occupying forces carried out 689 strikes on 40 settlements in the region. The women, aged 58 and 65, sustained injuries.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
“We received 48 reports of damage to infrastructure and residential buildings,” reads a statement published on the Telegram channel on Thursday morning.
According to him, Russian forces carried out 20 airstrikes on Komyshuvakha, Zarichne, Richne, Yurkivka, Tavriiske, Zelenyi, Samiilivka, Shevchenkivske, Preobrazhenka, Rizdvyanka, Zirnytsia, Charivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Lisne, Lyubytske, Novyi Pol, and Novoselivka.
In addition, 440 drones of various types, mostly FPV, attacked Yurkivka, Mariivka, Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Stepove, Pavlivske, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Komyshuvakha, Shcherbaky, Kopani, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Hulyaypilsk, Hirke, Zelen, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, Svyatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, and Preobrazhenka.
Eleven rocket attacks were also recorded on Primorske, Maly Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Huliaipilske.
“218 artillery strikes hit Stepnogorsk, Primorske, Stepove, Pavlivske, Lukyanivske, Maly Shcherbaky, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Maly Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Dobropillya, Pryluky, Hirky, Hulyaypil, and Staroukrainka,” Fedorov reported.
On the night of May 28, Russian occupiers carried out another attack with strike drones on the southern part of the Odesa region. As a result of the enemy shelling, a private residential building and an infrastructure facility were damaged.
In Kherson, a woman was injured as a result of another Russian shelling of the Korabelny district. She was hospitalized in serious condition.
Over the past day, 13 civilians were injured due to Russian attacks in the Sumy region. Dozens of settlements in the region came under fire, and Russian drones attacked civilian vehicles, homes, and farms.
In Kherson, a Russiandrone struck an apartment, killing a man.
