Russia has carried out 989 strikes on Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region—there have been fatalities
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 989 strikes on 59 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the attacks in the Zaporizhzhia district, four people were killed and five others were wounded. The Russians struck with aircraft, drones, and artillery, and also damaged homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.

The Russians carried out airstrikes
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 17 airstrikes. The targets included Komyshuvakha, Serhiivka, Liubymivka, Yurkivka, Tavriiske, Novorozivka, Sofiivka, Orikhiv, Vasynivka, Mykilsk, Vilnyanka, and Shyroke. Separately, the Russians continued to actively use drones.
Nearly 800 drone attacks
According to Fedorov, Russian forces launched 788 UAVs of various types, primarily FPV drones.
The drones attacked Vilnyansk, Malokaterynivka, Kushuhum, Chervonodniprovka, Hryhorivka, Richne, Zaporozhets, Veselyanka, Novoyakovlivka, Zapasne, Raiske, Novoivanivske, Bilenke, Antonivka, Gelendzhik, Ivanivske, Veselyi Hai, Barvinivka, Stepnogorsk, Plavni, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Magdalynivka, Novoandriivka, Novopavlivka, Preobrazhenka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Bilohirya, Charivne, Novoselivka, Hulyaypilsk, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Kopani, Dolynka, Rivne, Vozdvizhivka, Kosivtseve, Novozaporizhzhya, and Rybne.
Dozens of settlements under artillery fire
Russian troops launched another 184 artillery strikes on Chervonodniprovka, Hryhorivka, Richne, Zaporizhets, Veselyanka, Zapasne, Novoyakovlivka, Stepnogorsk, Plavni, Primorske, Pavlivka, Lukyanivske, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novopavlivka, Preobrazhenka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Chervona Krynytsia, Omelnyk, Bilohirya, Charivne, Novoselivka, Hulyaypilskyi, Hirkyi, Staroukrainka, Kopani, Dolynka, Rivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Novozaporizhzhia, and Rybne.
In total, authorities received 89 reports of damage over the past 24 hours. These reports concern residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities. Thus, in a single day, Russian troops carried out nearly a thousand strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region. Most of the attacks involved drones, but the Russians also used aircraft and artillery. As a result of these strikes, four people were killed in the Zaporizhzhia district, and five others were wounded. The details regarding the consequences of the shelling are subject to change. Since the evening of September 26, Russian troops have attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 20 times. The occupiers used drones and artillery; one person was injured as a result of the strikes. A business and a market in the region were damaged, and fires broke out.
On the night of September 27, a Russian drone struck a non-residential building in the Solomyanskyi District of Kyiv. A fire broke out after the strike, and while extinguishing it, rescue workers discovered the body of a man. At another location, a drone caused a fire in a car repair shop.
On September 26, Russian troops killed three residents of the Donetsk region, and five more people were wounded. Two of the fatalities were in Kramatorsk, and another was in Shabelkivka.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops again attacked the Kherson region with aircraft, drones, and artillery. Critical and social infrastructure facilities, a high-rise building, and nine private homes were hit. One person was injured as a result of the Russian shelling.
