Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 813 strikes on 45 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Infrastructure facilities, residential buildings, and vehicles came under fire, but there were no casualties.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
According to Fedorov, the Russian army carried out 17 airstrikes on a number of settlements, including Malokaterynivka, Komyshuvas, Hryhorivka, Preobrazhenka, Mala Tokmachka, Vozdvyzhivka, and others.
Additionally, 549 attacks by various types of drones, primarily FPV drones, were recorded.
Dozens of settlements came under attack, including Zaporizhzhia, Huliaipole, Stepnogorsk, the Orikhiv and Polohiv districts, and other communities in the frontline zone.
In addition, Russian troops used multiple launch rocket systems against Charivne.
Another 246 artillery strikes hit settlements along the front line, including Stepnogorsk, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Primorske, Shcherbaky, and other communities.
According to the Regional Military Administration, 44 reports were received regarding damage to homes, infrastructure, and vehicles.
Despite the intense shelling, no civilian casualties were reported.
On May 21, Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region with Shahed-type strike drones. As a result of the shelling in Mykolaiv, a medical facility was damaged and a fire broke out at an industrial enterprise.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, 15 attacks by Russian drones were recorded. The strikes damaged businesses, residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure in several districts of the region.
On the evening of May 21, Kharkiv came under attack by Russian drones, resulting in hits on residential buildings and near a shopping center, as well as a fire. No information on casualties has been received so far, and the consequences of the strikes are being assessed. Relevant services are on the ground working to address the aftermath of the attack.
