Robert Brovdy announced an intensification of strikes on strategic targets behind enemy lines

Robert Brovdi (Madyar), commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, announced an escalation of attacks on oil and gas infrastructure and military targets within the aggressor’s territory. According to him, thanks to technological advancements, Ukrainian drones are now capable of striking targets up to 2,000 kilometers deep, depriving the occupiers of any sense of a secure rear.

Robert (Madyar) Brovdi, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this in an interview with the BBC.

The priority of strikes on the Russian Federation’s energy sector is driven by the need to undermine the Kremlin’s financial capabilities, as it channels windfall profits from oil sales into the war effort. In addition to economic pressure, attacks on oil refineries aim to sever the logistical supply chains for fuel to the occupying forces. Brovdi emphasized that any facility supporting the enemy’s war machine is a legitimate target for destruction.

In parallel with strikes on infrastructure, unmanned aerial systems are implementing a strategy to deplete the enemy’s manpower, outpacing the rate of recruitment of new soldiers in Russia. The commander emphasized that every destruction must be recorded on video to confirm its effectiveness. This combination of deep strikes and heavy losses on the front lines is intended not only to undermine military capabilities but also to provoke panic within the aggressor nation.
