Russia attacked a farm in the Chernihiv region
In the evening, Russian troops attacked a farm in one of the villages of the Snivska community in Chernihiv Oblast using a “Geran”-type drone. The strike sparked a fire, which was later extinguished by emergency responders.
According to Vyacheslav Chaus, Russian troops attacked a farm in a village in the Snovsk community with a “Geran” drone late in the evening.
A fire broke out on the farm’s premises following the strike.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration also spoke about the overall intensity of shelling in the region.
“Over the past 24 hours, the enemy carried out 25 strikes on the Chernihiv region. Fourteen of these were FPV drones near the border,” Chaus noted.
Thus, over the course of a single day, Russian forces carried out 25 strikes on the territory of Chernihiv Oblast.
A significant portion of the attacks targeted border areas—14 strikes were carried out by FPV drones.
Russian shelling and drone attacks continue to pose a threat to the region’s civilian and economic infrastructure.

For some western regions of Ukraine, the massive strikes using conventional Shahed drones came as a surprise. At the same time, these regions have already begun looking into air defense systems and interceptor drones.
On Thursday, September 17, Russian troops struck the Slobidske District of Kharkiv. According to preliminary reports, a shopping center was the target of the attack.
Russia once again launched a jet-powered drone at Kyiv. Explosions were heard in the capital after an air raid alert was issued.
Overnight and in the morning, Russian troops carried out further strikes on Kyiv’s civilian infrastructure. Damage from the attack was reported at more than 10 locations. As of 8:00 a.m., 16 people were reported injured, including two children.
Sixteen people, including two children, were injured as a result of the Russian strike on Kyiv. The attack damaged residential buildings, educational institutions, and railroad tracks.
Russia also launched missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties.
Earlier, Russia struck Odesa and damaged a high-rise building.
On September 15, a Russian drone strike was recorded in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District. Black smoke is rising from the site.
In the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, a strike was recorded on the grounds of a garage cooperative.
